Terms of service of Montage Tallinn
This document governs the relationship between the handyman and the client for furniture assembly, appliance installation, repair and related work. Last updated: 2026-05-29. Questions go to master@montagetallinn.ee.
Who enters into the contract
Contractor: Tokarenko Kostiantyn, registered sole proprietor / FIE (reg. TBD), operating under the Montage Tallinn brand from Tallinn, Estonia.
Client: an individual or legal entity who orders a service via the form on the site, WhatsApp, Telegram, email or phone.
The contract is deemed concluded once both parties confirm the time of the visit and the scope of work.
What we do
We help with:
- Furniture assembly (IKEA, JYSK, ON24, Kaup24 and similar)
- Built-in appliance installation
- Furniture repair and adjustment
- Mounting shelves, TVs, mirrors, curtain rods etc.
For the work, the client prepares:
- A clean and clear space at the installation site
- Walls, electrical and plumbing in a finished state (if connections are needed)
- Access to the site (keys, open door, agreed time)
What we don't do
For safety and licensing reasons we don't take on:
- Gas equipment work — requires a licensed specialist
- New electrical wiring — requires an electrician with B-pädevus
- Moving plumbing utilities — requires a plumber
- Removal of load-bearing structures
- Any work requiring special permits
If a task is outside our scope, we say so honestly and where possible recommend vetted specialists.
How and when to pay
- Minimum visit: €80 for one task. For larger jobs the price is calculated as work proceeds, with everything beyond €80.
- Payment timing: after the work is done. No prepayment is taken from private clients.
- Payment methods: Revolut, Wise, bank transfer or cash.
- Invoice without VAT: on request — via the ettevõtluskonto (LHV).
- Invoice with VAT: for business clients — via partner OÜ Partner OÜ (TBD) (reg. TBD, KMKR TBD). Käibemaks (VAT) at the current EMTA rate.
In both cases the work is performed by us.
Cancellation policy
- 24+ hours before the visit: free cancellation — there's time to take another job.
- 2–24 hours before: 50% of the minimum (€40) — I'm already preparing and planning the day.
- Less than 2 hours / no-show: full minimum (€80) — because I've already set off.
Rescheduling within the 24+ hour window is free. We resolve mutual delays in WhatsApp.
Warranty terms
- Furniture assembly: 6 months on the quality of work.
- Repair and adjustment: 3 months.
- Appliance installation: 30 days on the installation (not the appliance itself — the manufacturer's warranty covers the appliance).
If a defect in assembly or installation is found during the warranty period, we come back and redo the work at no extra charge. Factory defects in furniture or appliances are warranty cases for the seller / manufacturer.
Vastutuskindlustus
We hold professional liability insurance (vastutuskindlustus) with cover up to €20 000.
Policy no.: TBD.
The insurance covers accidental damage to the client's property caused during the work. Details on request to master@montagetallinn.ee.
What we're liable for, and what not
We're liable for the quality of the work we perform, within the warranty and insurance cover, but not for:
- Factory defects in furniture and appliances — that's the manufacturer's warranty
- Damage from misuse after our visit
- Uninsured property beyond the €20 000 insurance cap
- Indirect losses and lost profits
The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information about the task, for access to the site and the readiness of utilities.
Terms for business clients
For business clients, the terms of a separate services contract (töövõtuleping) signed by both parties apply. It records: scope of work, frequency, rates, invoicing arrangements (with or without VAT), reporting format and payment terms.
If there is no separate contract, the terms set out in this document apply. B2B details are on the For business page.
If something goes wrong
Send any claims to master@montagetallinn.ee — we aim to resolve the matter within 14 days. If the outcome doesn't satisfy you, a private client may turn to the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet, ttja.ee) or the Consumer Disputes Committee (tarbijavaidluste komisjon).
The contract is governed by the law of the Republic of Estonia. Jurisdiction lies with the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus), unless the law provides otherwise.
Updates to the terms
If the terms change, we'll notify you in advance via the site and update the date at the top of the document. Orders already confirmed remain governed by the version in force at the time of confirmation.
