General

Where I work, how we talk, what the warranty is

01. Where do you work?

Tallinn and Harjumaa (with €0.5/km travel surcharge).

02. How fast do you respond?

During business hours (Mon–Sat 9:00–18:00) — within 2 hours.

03. What should the client have ready?

If you have furniture instructions or a receipt — yes. Everything else I bring.

04. What language do we talk in?

I speak Russian directly. With Estonian and English speakers — by message (more accurate for details).

05. Can I pay by transfer?

Yes — Revolut, Wise, bank transfer. Receipt on request.

06. What's the warranty?

6 months on assembly, 3 months on repairs and adjustments, 30 days on appliance installation (not the appliance itself — that's the manufacturer's warranty). If something goes wrong, I come back to fix it.

Request and booking

How to book, how to pay, how to cancel

07. What if I don't know the terms?

Send a photo. I'll translate it to technical and tell you what it is.

08. Can you estimate without a photo?

Only roughly. An exact price comes after a photo or short video.

09. What if I can't take a photo?

No worries. Describe it in words or send a voice note on WhatsApp.

10. Is there a minimum?

€80 — minimum visit for a single task. If there are more tasks, the price reflects actual work above €80.

11. When do I pay?

After the work. I don't take prepayment from private clients.

12. Can I cancel?

24+ hours in advance — free. 2–24 hours before the visit — 50% of the minimum (€40) — I'm already preparing the trip. Less than 2 hours, or no-show — €80, because I've already set off.

Technical

What I do, what I don't

13. Do you work with any furniture?

Standard flat-pack — yes (IKEA, JYSK, ON24, Kaup24, Avito). Antiques and bespoke pieces — no.

14. Gas work?

No, only in coordination with a licensed specialist.

15. Electrical work?

Only existing connections. New wiring, replacing in-wall sockets — no (needs B-pädevus, an Estonian electrician's licence).

16. Plumbing?

Simple jobs (tap replacement, silicone, aerator) — yes. Pipe soldering, moving drains — no.

17. Do you work on upper floors without a lift?

Yes, with a €20–50 surcharge depending on weight and number of boxes.

18. Can you bring furniture from the store?

No, just assembly on site. Delivery — via the store or a delivery service (e.g. Bolt Cargo).

For business and companies

VAT, contracts, regular work

19. Do you work with VAT (käibemaks)?

For private clients — without VAT. For business clients when needed — invoice with VAT via a partner OÜ.

20. Can you sign a contract?

Yes — for regular clients, a standard service contract. For one-offs, a completed-works report.

21. Do you work with furniture companies?

Yes, I take on regular installation contracts. Write to email with a partnership subject.

22. Can we sign a 12-month contract?

Yes — for property managers, hotels, real-estate agents. Terms are individual.

Partner model

Who actually shows up

23. Who actually shows up — you or a partner?

Most of the time — me personally. If my day is full and you need help fast, my partner may come (with your agreement). Standards and warranty are the same.

24. Quality from the partner — is it the same?

Yes, and I'm responsible for their work. If something's wrong, I come back to fix it myself, or refund.

Other questions that come up

25. Can I send a photo through ChatGPT or another AI?

You can, but I prefer real photos of the site. AI-generated images don't reflect real dimensions or conditions.

26. What if the furniture arrived faulty?

Contact the seller — that's a warranty case. I can assemble what's there, but I'm not responsible for factory defects.

27. Can you take away old furniture?

Yes — for a surcharge of €30–80 depending on volume. Disposal via jäätmejaam (waste collection point) or passing it on.

28. Can you come on the weekend?

Yes — with a €30 surcharge (weekend rate).

29. What if I live in Harjumaa, outside the city?

That's fine — €0.5/km surcharge from central Tallinn.

30. Can you recommend other handymen?

If your task is outside my scope (gas, new wiring, bath fitting) — I'll suggest trusted people, if I know any.
